We are a small team of independent creative minds; a tightly knit group striving to grow and to keep the momentum going. Founded in 1973, the brand of Robert La Roche has held a pioneering position in the eyewear industry. After relaunching in 2014, we are more determined than ever to set a new and radical standard for what eyewear can be. We also aim to show what a small group of people can do with a raw creative vision and a constantly growing zest for innovative expression. Achieving this goal requires precise expertise and craftsmanship, as well as an understanding of artistic design and cutting-edge technology. In order to create a product that is 100% pure and honest, our team is composed of highly skilled professionals who are meticulously involved in the entire process, from the first stroke of a pencil to the final finishing touch.

Product Features

When fine craftsmanship and an innovative vision meet top-grade acetates and sheer titanium from Italy and Japan, the result is a product whose raw quality is difficult to question. Our sophisticated manufacturing techniques add a haptic quality and multi-dimensionality to these objects that are entirely our own. Robert La Roche frames are engineered with many subtle detail included. Laminations reveal a layered structure. Fine faceting increases wearing comfort and plays with light, while a closer look will reveal delicate patterns. Each frame has its logo plate inserted in the inner temple and states the product’s origin – brass for Italy, black for Japan. All frames are individually adjustable.
